HELP! My windows 7 pre-release copy is running out

Hey guys,

Just wondering what I should do. The prompt that comes up from Windows says I have to backup my files and install a final version. Is there any way I can simply pay for a key and upgrade the version I already have (without losing my data!).

I dont think that is possible. As far as I know, you can use that copy until June. At that point it shuts down every 2 hours.

You can use a program they have that transfers all of your settings and files. Be sure to also backup your browser if you have links and add-ons you want to keep.

If you use firefox, look up the FEBE addon.

All you need is a place to save the files the program creates.
