Some of you guys might remember my thread on the old board (about 2 months ago) about wanting to pack up and move overseas. Well, I've decided what I want to do. So, I've decided that I am going to head over to Eastern Europe to go teach english for a year or two, as of May 1st, 2005.

What I am wondering is if there is someone here with first hand experience to talk to on this situation to give me pointers on where to go, how to get a job, and how to get a place to live. Also, just some trip ups that I should know about with a move like this.

Basically, I am hoping there is someone I can talk to about this stuff. if you or someone you know has done this, is it possible I can get an email address that I can send some questions to?

This would be a huge help, and I would appreciate it so much!

Thanks!

Alot of my friends have done it and really liked it. also pays rather well. One friend was making like 10K a month in Japan, but factor in cost of living it wasnt soo much. anyways best way to get outta here quick is to take a course in teaching enlish over seas. its under 500 dollars and its less then a month long. problem is these places send you were you need to go not where you want to go. so unless you like asia you might be waiting around for a while. Korea seems to be the place for teaching english lately. anyways i never looked into myself but everyone i know who did it was pretty happy with it.
