Anyone want to share your weight-loss story on TV?

Got this in the CP email, thought I'd pass it on.

Airing on Slice™, X-Weighted: Families is a television series showcasing the triumph of losing weight by encouraging healthy lifestyles and hard work. We are looking for families (with children aged 8-17) ready to come to terms with their unhealthy reality. Each one hour episode will follow a different family’s struggle and success (filmed sporadically over six months) and most importantly the positive change that occurs from exercise and nutritious foods. We are looking for stories where families bond, challenges are conquered, healthy skill sets are created and physical transformations are made: stories that will inspire audiences across Canada.

I actually enjoyed this show more before they switched to the "family" format.

They are also running a nation-wide thing through the YMCA starting this Saturday and going through July if that is interest to people....I don't know all of the details though, just saw the poster there.

Why did you get the email? Were they saying you're fat?

So the whole family has to have lost weight to do this show?

I, personally, have gone from 340 to 240 since July, but I'm a single guy and neither my GF or extended family has lost weight. And in any case, I still have quite a ways to go to get where my doc wants me to be.

Funny thing is I've had at least 6 people come up to me and ask if I'm okay or if I'm sick. As if that's the most logical explanation.

There's enough weight-loss shows out there. What we really need is some weight gaining shows!!!
