Default I got scammed...

But may have got the scammer back....

Background info... I made an online deal where me and a guy from Alburqurque NM traded each other guitars. I got my package in and found out he sent a kids guitar weighted down to make it feel like a fullsize guitar.

http://www.agileguitarforum.com/view...d=10478&page=1

My guitar that I sent hasnt made it to NM yet, but I feel confident that he will be rejecting the package therefore it coming back to me.

Why do you think that it will be rejected?

If you read the link i gave you.. we got pretty much ALL his information including pics of his parents...

He has contacted me telling me he is going to be rejecting it, and he has started paying me back for the shipping charges.

Wow. He posts his real info in his profile and then tries to scam you? So, did he think you would not realize it was the right guitar or that you wouldn't care or something? Remarkable. Hope it works out.

What's the deal with the claw? Enlighten those of us that are unaware - this sounds good.

One of the few times that being in Canada with our slow postal service has actually been a benefit.

Slow is an understatement. I sent a postcard when I was in New Zealand a week or so before I left and I beat it home by a few days.

I really dont know what he was expecting.... That part I cant figure out at all...

Did he think I was just gonna suck it up?
Did he think I wasnt going to care?
Why did he do this?
Was he trying to just get a free guitar?
Did he plan on this from the very begining? OR did he decide to stuff a kids guitar in there last minute?

Yeah, it's a classic.

Here's more of a summary if you don't have hours and hours.

Personaly i'd like to see that a hole have to face the law for what he tried to do to you. Chances are he'll pull the same stunt with someone else.
