I buy spaghettini to try to convince women that I'm worldly and exotic.

Am I the only idiot who keep buying spaghettini instead of spaghetti. I HATE THOSE LITTLE USELESS THIN NOODLES, AND I ALREADY HAVE 4 OPENED PACKS.

When I used to work at Safeway, I know that I stocked the Spaghetini in the Spaghetti spot. But when I realized it, I got lazy and didnt fix it. Thats probably what has happened to you.

There's nothing wrong with Spaghettini. In fact some women like it because it's special and exotic.
That being said, I'm more of a Fucilli, or penne guy.

What's spaghetini? Is it the same as Angel Hair pasta? What's wrong with it? You should be able to eat it faster if it's smaller, shouldn't you???

Exactly. Pound for pound on a fork, spaghettini and the angel hairs rule.

Nope, Spaghetti is Italian for Spaghetti. Simillarily, Spaghettini is Italian for Spaghettini.
It's the same thing only smaller. Get it, Tini?

I'm with Fotze, Spaghetini is like light beer. Whats the point?

Bah, Spaghetti sucks anyways. Real pasta is rolled flat and cut to shape. It is not extruded from a hole.

Ah, but you see, there is a point.
Spaghettini shouldn't be slighted because they are small, or thin, or whatever.
There are certain dishes in which the use of spaghettini is prefered over spaghetti. Cooking is an art... and there are certain codes of conduct to follow. (Of course, in this day and age, these rules are largely ignored by people, restaurants, etc...)
OK. enough 'cooking with lucid' for today :P
And real pasta can certainly be extruded from a hole. It's just better when you've done it all by hand instead of having it all mechanised.
