Sesame Street's "Olivia" Alaina Reed Dies

Alaina Reed, Sesame Street’s Olivia, passed away this week. Reed will be remembered for her beautiful and powerful voice, which she lent to many memorable songs during her tenure as Gordon’s little sister.

You know, now that i have kids of my own and we're watching Elmo and Sesame Street (also known as Elmo's Friends in our household), I was thinking about some of the old characters.

Whatever happened to Louise, the friendly hispanic fellow?

Deported, the was living there and working without a Green Card. When Oscar the Grouch found this out he did the American thing and phoned INS. During the ensuing arrest he was tasered 32 times by an RCMP officer there on an exchange program.Luis was subdued and promptly deported back to Mexico
