Default JD Watt

Can anyone tell me hows hes doing this year?
He has 2 goals and 1 assist, in 22 games this year for the Heat.
He has 80 penalty minutes.
(Hes also played 1 game in the ECHL this year, 0 points, 5 penalty minutes)

Does he have a shot at making it to the big club and being a player like Prust? (If thats a fair comparison)

Yes it's a fair comparison, JD Watt is the prototypical middleweight-fighter/forechecker/agitating energy line type that Sutter likes to draft in the middle rounds. I wouldn't put much money on him ever being an NHL'er (at least not with the Flames).

Haha sorry, I guess I could go deeper,,, He is a fighter, skill wise is not near prust and cant skate nearly good enough to crack the Flames. As far as a fighter I've only heard, that he is fair for his size but not great.

JD has a spot in my heart for the biggest hit I have ever seen in a hockey ah hell in any contact sport ever.

I seriously thought he killed the poor kid last year.

I remember watching him in Junior with the Giants. In games against the Hitmen he stood out as a typical Sutter guy. He looked like he could skate pretty well in his draft year. Loved to hit and fight and be a pain in the ass. I was not surprised when the Flames picked him.

He has had conditioning issues since. One reason he was sent back for his overage year. I have not seen him in Abbotsford or Quad City. Hopefully he matures and becomes more dedicated as I think he could be a fourth line agitator in this league. J.D. is actually bigger than Brandon Prust.

Typical Sutter guy in everything but the fact he was a cheap POS. Hoping he has matured on the ice since then. If not, he can stay buried in the low minors for all I care.

JD earned my respect last year too. I really like the guy. Don't know that he'll make the bigs though.

Dude it was like a few inches infront of us.

I like the dude yelling "hey homie! what hospital is he going to so I can send him flowers" and almost starting a fan/player riot.
