Default Cincinnati Bengals' WR Chris Henry in accident - possibly fatal

Apparently he was involved in some sort of domestic dispute and fell out the back of a pickup truck. Some outlets are reporting that the accident was fatal and that he died.

There's some questions on the reliability of the sources reporting the accident as fatal. Let's hope they're false.

Yikes. The guy is an absolute headcase, but that's rough if he's dead/permanently injured.

Doesn't sound good, but hopefully he pulls through somehow.

ESPN reported this morning that his injuries are so bad he may never play again.

It wouldn't be the NFL if not for some bizarre fatality in the offseason.

Really sucks if true.

Football is the very least of his worries at this point.

Even though Chris made it through the night he has passed away.

Really too bad. He is a guy that was in nothing but trouble in the early part of his career, but seemingly had turned it around.

Bad year for the Bengals in that there D co-ordinator lost his wife about 6 weeks ago as well.

Now his teammates have to board a plane tomorrow and fly across the country for a huge game against San Diego.

Really sad stuff.

I wonder what the dispute was about? His transgressions?

I'd say it does. Whatever that fight was about, it ultimately killed him.

Terrible, terrible, just awful news. Obviously a completely avoidable death. May his soul rest in peace.

You always hope for redemption for troubled cases like these.

I didn't agree with the Bengals signing him again, I thought he had been handed enough chances. But by all accounts he seemed to figured out that he really was given a gift and was a much better teammate.

RIP Chris
