Wow, Avs really came out and gooned it up. They gave up 10 power plays with selfish and timely penalties. tisk..tisk...

Wings hold Colorado to just 11 shots but Turco continues to play like crap and managed to help make the game interesting. He may need a change of scenery to shake things up.

General Fight at 9:56 of 2nd period
Eric Nystrom and R.J. Umberger fight to a draw at 9:56 of 2nd period
Wayne Simmonds and Michael Peca fight to a draw at 9:56 of 2nd period
Andrew Ference and Karlis Skrastins fight to a draw at 9:56 of 2nd period

Weird victory over the Canucks.

First minute of the game we pot 2 goals.

Then lead 3-2 after 2 only having 6 shots on goal.

Vancouver only gets 2 shots in the 3rd, and Souray puts the game away with two rockets on the powerplay.

Next up is the Coyotes. I'd love to get a W against them and bring a certain Coyote back to Dallas after the game.

Yikes, the Habs pound the Preds 9-0. Nash lead the way with a hat trick and a helper. Everyone pretty much got involved in this game.

We put in Jonas Hiller for this one and he repays us with a shutout. That takes our streak to 10 games now, matching a season high.

Flames with a huge win. Zubov is almost healthy enough to play again. Cam Ward is going to need some time off.

Ugg another shoot out loss. On the plus side I keep picking up points, but losing three straight sucks.

Eric Cole decides to make an impression and gets the boot in his first hame. Something to do with unsportsmanlike conduct.

The only bright side is due to injury and trying to fill roster spots, the Blues found Ryan Russell. He's put up 7 points in 6 games for the Rivermen and been quite the pleasant find.

Snap goes that winning streak, thanks to an awful effort over the Stars.

What a horrendous showing. I'm sure that we've never had a loss this bad in my tenure. I'd say that I'm going to blow things up...but there is nowhere left to go here!!

Rangers play a solid game, winning 4-2.... and only allowing 12 shots against.

Rangers Backup Goalie Brent Johnson had an off game allowing 2 goals against on 12 shots but the offense was solid scoring 4 goals in the 3rd period. Rangers 4th line lead the offense in today's game.

Nik Backstrom had the day off, in an effort to keep his playing minutes down. As I am sure some of the #1 in the league are going to get exhausted any time...

Medical staff has confirmed that Tim Connolly has received the Green light to get back into the line-up. Tim has been on the IR for approximately 3 weeks.

3 Stars

1 - Mark Parrish (NYR)
2 - Rostislav Klesla (NJD)
3 - Krystofer Barch (NYR)

Game Notes

Jason Jaffray and Patrick Eaves fight to a draw at 12:25 of 1st period
