It's that time again, folks.
Some of you might remember this from last year, but for those who are maybe new or who missed last year's thread...
While you're out shopping for Christmas presents this year, look for gifts that are part of the (PRODUCT)Red fund. It's a good cause and it doesn't cost you a dime. The best part (from a selfish perspective), is that it also means you get to give something that comes in a pretty kickass colour.
It's important to remember that these products are not marked up at all. The donation side of the purchase comes straight out of the same retail price you'd pay for a non-(RED) model.
So...
Do you have a son or daughter who wants an iPod for Christmas? Why not get them a red one? It costs the same as a blue one, except that one, single,
(APPLE)Red iPod purchase will also buy 8 single-dose treatments for one pregnant mother suffering from AIDS in Africa.
Maybe you own a business and you want to give some Starbucks gift cards to your employees with their Christmas bonuses. Ask for the
(STARBUCKS)Red gift cards. They don't cost a penny more than the other ones with a picture of Hawaii on them.
Even laptops. There's a
(DELL)Red laptop you can get.
(NIKE)Red shoelaces...
(GAP)Red t-shirts... etc etc etc.

For any iPhone or iPod Touch users, there's now a (PRODUCT)Red version of one of the most famous apps out there:
(SHAZAM)Red. (Don't forget, they started charging for their app a couple months ago, the (RED) version is the same price as the normally priced version. This isn't the free one.)
