Yes, it was extremely powerful. Rarely do I feel any emotion of any kind, but damn. I felt for Hotch's character.

It got a little dusty around here when we watched it. "I was workin' the case with you, Daddy."

It is the best "crime solving" show out there IMO.
That episode was hardcore! It makes you wonder what you would do in that situation if all you had to do was stop hunting a guy and he would stop hunting victims.
Oh and JJ is smoking hot!

I wonder what's going to happen now.
What the deal with Hotch and Morgan will be now.

Very good show, with good characters and good story lines.
There aren't many on TV, but this one is pretty decent for sure. The episode was very strong and extremely difficult to watch at times.
The feel of the show had changed and gone off course for a while when the Jason Gideon (Mandy Patinkin) character left, but it has been getting better lately.

I actually just started watching this show this year and only because when I was sick in September I was flipping channels and left it on A&E one day and this show came on and for the rest of the week I was home I was tuning in. Of course these were old episodes and they kinda jumped all over the place so I was lost coming in Season 5.
I have finally finished watching Season 4 now and because I enjoy it so much I am going to go back from Season 1 to 3 and watch them. I have seen a few episodes here and there for the first 3 seasons through A&E but I wouldn't mind catching up and just to watch the show because I enjoy the theme of the show. Not cheesy like CSI's IMO.
I really like that Gideon character it was too bad he left.

My wife got me hooked early on. Was really disappointed when Pitankin left the show, but have been pleasantly surprised with the development of the show since. I didn't think it would be as good, but it is....maybe better.
I love it when they reference real world cases/killers to illustrate their very valid points on the psychology of their fictional unknown subjects.

Such a good show. My wife and I had seen one or two episodes here and there, and then this last July we started to watch it on A&E on Friday nights. Then I saw the DVDs come through my office in late August so I grabbed season 1 & 2 and we watched both seasons in 3 weeks. We haven't seen all of season three or four yet but we've been watching season 5 this year.
The show definitely can disturb you and pull at your heart strings. My wife has a hard time watching any episode where a child is in any sort of danger. The 100th episode was a hard one to watch as far as emotions go. All of a sudden one of the main characters you've been watching for a while is fighting (and losing) to save his family.
I'm interested to see what happens next. My wife has been wondering since the first episode of season 5 if Hotch will be on the show this year. This makes you wonder how the rest of the season and beyond plays out for him.

Being a husband and father I found it very easy to put myself in his shoes and feel some of the emotions he must've been going through.

This is one of my favourite programs. It's absolutely excellent, although very disturbing. Dr. Spencer Reid is my favourite character. I love the quotes they use. Only problem is it's opposite Glee, another good 'um. But CM is better.
