sounds like he didn't fix the games, he just passed on the information about refs who he knew had biases against teams/players or if they favored home teams etc.
It's a lot like the whole Bonds Steroids in baseball. He got caught and was the poster boy for it, but you'd be pretty ignorant to think there's not a lot more of fixing games or point shaving going on in sports
