Consensus: This sequel to the cult favorite The Boondock Saints is more of the same -- unoriginal, absurd, violent, over-the-top, and occasionally mean-spirited.
Better than the first one, which ranks at 16%. I don't understand the cult following behind the first one. It was absolutely terrible and totally overhyped.

I loved the first one but I'm a little nervous about this one.
Personally I think Willem Dafoe's character (an his acting) was a major reason why the first one was so good. This new one looks a little too much like an action flick. However, I couldn't forgive myself if I didn't see it.
Uncredited may indicate flashbacks... just guessing.
After watching "Overnight", which I reccomend to any Boondock Saints fan, I'm surprised Driector Troy Duffy a) directed another film, b) got a big chunk of the cast back for this one. He seemed to be a higher level of ###### that Jon Gosselin can only dream of becoming.

If by absolutely terrible, you mean incredibly awesome, then yes, I agree with you.
It was a fun movie. Definitely not one of the best movies ever made, but it knew what it was, and was a lot of fun to watch. Great actions scenes and dark humour made it a real treat to watch.
