Seriously, my favorite New Years have been the ones where I just chill out at home, grill up a big steak, throw in a good first person shooter, and death match all night while pounding back Crown and Cokes with my dog. There always seems to be some sort of major drama every year I go out with a girlfriend, or some dumb ass friend. Not worth the hassle.

It was very liberating the first year I didn't succumb to the "You're a loser if you don't go out with 34,297 people to celebrate." pressure.

I can recall my first NYE after being dumped by an ex g/F.....did not feel like going out, watched Apollo 13 and was in the rack by 11 or so.........I'd like to assume that the ex had a lousy NYE as well, but I'd imagine her new b/f was putting the pipe to her.....lucky b@stard!!!!!

Anyways, after a few years of nights that turned into gong shows due to piss poor planning, staying at home delivered everything expected........
