I've got an XM Roady XT, and I cancelled my service this summer. Can I get in on that? If so, how?

I think that if you just plug in and wait a few minutes, the subscription should update as well... at least it did on an xm delphi unit I have...

Got this e-mail yesterday for XM. Said I have free radio until Nov 30... I was looking for a catch, such as free as long as I pay for a new subscription, but couldn't find it.

it worked with the sirius head unit in my bro's car...

The radio in my wife's car is AM/FM/CD/XM, which is why I wonder... not that it matters... it's the wife's car...

My mom's Toyota Corolla supposedly is too. The thing is, she never specified she wanted it, so even though the radio has an AM/FM/XM button, there simply is no antenna.

I don't think you need any extra antenna. Everyone I know who has the XM built into the stereo system has the typical antenna setup, you just have to pay for the service (or apparently take advantage of the free service).

I'll never go back to terrestrial radio, I haven't had to listen to Nickleback or any other junk in a year and I get a massive range of talk radio which makes any drive fly by.

I can confirm that this is true. I plugged in my Roady XT, and all the stations are audible!
