Simple trade, Although Luongo was getting wins, his stats weren't what we expected them to be. The Trade will also save the Flyers 3.25 mill in cap next year.

I was planning on trading Lou in the off-season, due to cap problems that will be coming forward. This way we maintain our high goalie rating and save some money.

Haha, minor trade...right. Trade makes sense for both sides since the goalie situation wasn't really working out for either side. Flyers save money next year, Pens get the higher rated goalie.

There are not many goalies we would trade Lundy for, Lou is one of them. It makes sense for us because Lundy has been struggling and we need a solid presence between the pipes. Lundy has lost 6 straight games and has given up 4 or more goals in 4 of those games so that was not good enough for us if we want to make the playoffs. Hopefully Lou can turn in some solid starts and help us climb up the standings.

Similiar goalies should be interesting to see how the SIM reacts.... However one of the teams have saved 3M in cap for next season.... which will be huge!!!
