Borderlands
Borderlands video preview
anyone else looking forward to this game? i had heard nothing about it until last week, but now after reading up and watching some videos i just pre-ordered it on Steam. basically looks like a more indepth Fallout 3 with co-op and vehicle combat, how can that not be awesome?

Borderlands will be $39.96 at Futureshop, Best Buy, and Wal-Mart on the 20th so if you're interested in the game make sure you buy it from one of those stores.

I'll probably eventually get it for the PC. It's suppose to be "far superior" than the console versions atleast when it comes to visuals.

Seriously? I wasn't going to get the game, but the last time I jumped on one of these deals I got $10 out of it (I bought Infamous for $30, EB gave me $40 credit,  )
Also, the game has 17,000,000 guns. Yes, 17,000,000 guns. 
Only problem though is Modern Warfare 2 weeks later.

well not to mention it's FPS and those just suck on consoles. third person is as far as i'll go to playing any kind of shooter on my Xbox or PS3, mouse and keyboard is just far superior it's hard to change

I think I'll get the Xbox version on Tuesday, I really don't care if the PC graphics are better or about the controls, although certainly I can see how that might matter to some. (I usually suck at FPS games no matter what system I play on). If everyone else is going to wait until the PC version comes out on Saturday, maybe I'll post some impressions of the game after I try it out.

Regular price is $45 so 4 copies = $180
If you buy the special 4 pack on Steam, you get 4 copies for $135 so that's basically one game free. (Buy 3 tires, get 1 free!)
At most, I'll use 2 copies. Any CPers want to group buy?

I guarantee it'll get high 8's-low 9's. I just hope the online doesn't lag. If the game suffers from lag, it'll completely destroy the game.
$40 is a steal of a deal though, because even if I stop playing in 3 months, I can go and get $35-40 credit for it.
This new game thing where games are $40 on the first day of release is a nice surprise. First Batman, now this, MW2 as well for pre-order.
It is a nice surprise for us Canadians finally getting some slack.

I did that with L4D2 and still have a couple copies left. I'd swap you a copy if L4D2 is up your alley. I would also sell to anyone who wants a cheaper copy of L4D2.

Well if anyone was wanting to get it today for $40 it is sold out everywhere already.
Maybe not everywhere but I checked all Northland, and all the places near me in the NW. All EB games didn't even receive enough to satisfy the pre-orders, only 40 per store (futurshop/bestbuy/eb). Although I saw about 8 copies left at the Northland Futureshop for the PS3, I was only checked xbox, so I am going to go buy 2 for the PS3, wait until more copies come and then just bs them and trade them for 360 copies.

Walmart had it for cheap also, maybe check there?

Well EB didn't have it on sale for 39.99 like FS/BB and Walmart. Many walmarts did not recieve their shipments for the game yet, and some fs/bb got them throughout the day. I went to shawnessy walmart in the mornin', they didnt have FIFA or Borderlands so i went to futureshop and they had both
69 for fifa, 39 for borderlands
