Default Going to Regina for the Western Final

My friends and I said we'd love to go to Regina for the game.
Now how to get tickets without paying an arm and a leg.
When do tickets go on sale?
Is there any travel agenies that offer packages?
Any pubs like hooters or BPs sending a bus up?
Who's going?

You'll appreciate humanity a lot more when (if) you get back.

Dashtours always does packages. Since they originated in Regina, and there are lots of us from Regina (and Sask) who live in Calgary now, they will probably have some sort of package.

Try and avoid sitting on the east side it won't be pleasant there for a Stamps fan.

I'm thinking about making the trip as well to watch the game. How far of a drive is it from Calgary?

Beware - SASK fans are very, very intelligent. They know how to make noise when CGY has the ball, and be quiet when SASK has the ball. Like trained seals.

So it took them 8 days to sell a little more than 30,000 tickets for the west final, and it took Calgary 7 days to sell the same number for the west semifinal, and yet Riders fans (not you, but a lot of posters on TSN and other forums) are mocking the lack of attendance at Stamps games?

One thing to consider is that Regina is 200k and Calgary is 1m. Also, the game is on a Sunday, it makes it harder for people around the province to go to the game. If it was on a Saturday I'm sure they could get 40-50k pretty easily if the stadium was big enough.

Another thing is that it is hard to get people out for cold weather games. If it was 15 above yesterday I'm sure there would have been more than the 31k that were at Mcmahon.

It's also difficult to sell tickets for a semi-final because you've got only one week of notice as well. But in general, I just don't like the pissing matches about attendance. Any game that sells out or sells over 30 thousand should be looked on as a positive for the league. Anyway, Taylor Field is going to have awesome atmosphere next week.

Actually they were down to single tickets on thursday when I searched for some so they did pretty good IMO.

The fans on TSN are not reflective of the core.
