Weird here in alabama an AHLer playing with me eh?
I called the one and only rink to see if I could jump on a team. So tonight I played with Bash (birmingham adult select hockey) and I wish I didn't. First off most of the guys are University of Alabama huntsville players or Ex ECHLers and
Greg Flynn. He was an air force grad and played college hockey and I asked him what the deal with the lowell devils helmet and he said hes under contract with them. I calmly asked him a couple of questions like; " what the hell are you doing in alabama if you're under contract with NJ?" He said " well I had training for the air force down in montgomery and after I finish that I will be back on my way to lowell."
I thought the kid was giving me crap but I looked him up and sure enough he was an air force player, and sure enough he played in lowell during the pre season.

It does say it was an ATO (amatuer try out) and it did say he was realeased from ATO. So I dont know if hes on his way back or not.
Hes one hell of a player though.
