My lease is up on my '06 Cobalt and there is no way I am buying it out, I hate it. Anyone got anything for sale?
Looking to spend between $7,000-$15,000.

I should have started this in November when the lease actually runs out.

Good choice in not buying out the cobalt. I'm not a very big fan of the car. Heh.

Better to start looking now as opposed to scrambling to find another car when the lease has run out. At least now you have the time to pick and choose what you want.

If you are interested in the Blazer a November sale would work much better for us, as we are having a truck built and it will be available in November. Let me know.

Sorry, my mom owns one, and I'd rather buy hers than yours, no offense. Newer and I can get it cheaper.
I tried looking at the autotrader for various cars and there is so many scam/fraud listings it is almost unusable.
Anyone know any other website? I guess I should try the autofinder as well.
I'm looking for a BMW/newer VW, anything that isn't American.

Dodge Charger SRT8 that I am sick of paying for. I still want to drive it, but you pay for it. Sound like a good deal?
... No... Darn.

It's been a great car - good for commuting or for a student
$5000
Edit: I didn't notice your last post. If you're not interested in my car, have you thought about buying something from the US? Our dollar is strong, and depending on the vehicle, you can import them pretty easily and you can save $. I just brought a 2006 Honda Pilot over and it's a pretty simple process.
pm if interested.

I may be selling my 1998 Volvo V70 t-5
Very fast (236hp)...very fuel efficient (9l/100km average)...reliable...GREAT stereo...includes winter tires on rims...best car seats in the business...super comfortable...and of course safe
It has always been maintained at either the Edmonton/Calgary Volvo dealership or Mr Volvo. It has lots of highway KM's but Volvo are almost eternal if you maintain them.
It is a 5 speed which is really rare (only about 40 in Canada that year)...this is a great car...I'm just looking to get into a newer Volvo wagon
$5000

I was thinking going the US route, going down and picking up a car. How hard is it, what needs to be done?

Not too difficult. You just need to check the Can Government website to see if the vehicle you want is allowed to come in to the country. Get the necessary paperwork done.(found ont the US customs website) Submitt it to US Customs 72 hours before you bring the car over at the point of crossing. Pay the GST on the purchase price on the Canadian side of the border. Get the vehicle inspected and fix anything that needs to be fixed. Done.
That wasn't hard, was it?
The paperwork is the hardest part as you may need to get recall letters and articles showing there is no lein against the vehicle as well as all the other info before you can fill it out.
There are numerous companies in the states that will do all this stuff for you for a fee and even ship your vehicle to Canada.
