Holy smackers man! You thought it was cold here. Edmopnton broke a record this morning, -46°C!!! That's WITHOUT windchill. (In fairness to them, it was at the Leduc Intn'l airport outside the city.)

Yesterday the windchill hit -51 up here in The Mac. It wasn't in the least bit fun.

I disagree.

In no way was Edmonton colder then the center of Tiger Woods heart.

Do Edmontonians still wear sweat pants with dress shoes when it's -46?

Check out these windchills. That -59 at 5 this morning is just downright cruel.

I live up in Edmonton.

It is damn cold. I love it that it got that cold. Now Edmonton can say that it has been there and done that. By Friday it will be zero.

Awesome.

yes, there are lawyer jobs in Calgary, but houses are now too expensive to live in calgary. I'd have to earn enough so that the wife wouldn't have to work and could stay home plus afford an equivalent house.

I'll have to win the 6/49 and then can move back.

In the interim, consider me something of an advance negotiating team, or a missionary, trying to spread the good word or set the table for Flames-dom.

I neglected to plug my car in last night, and it wouldn't start this morning. Luckily after plugging it in for a couple of hours, I got it running. This weather is alright, I don't mind it. It's a fact of life we have to deal with. No doubt I'd rather be somewhere warmer right now, but I'm not. So I just accept this.

Apparently the only place colder in the WORLD today was somewhere in Siberia. How ironic.

I'm also living in Edmonton right now. It was horrible today. My car started alright but once the temperature inside the car heated up a bit it caused my windshield to get a huge crack due to the temperature differences. This is the one of the coldest days I've ever seen.
