As a customer, if you're not satisfied, keep asking for replacements. There's no need to second-guess a decision to "just live with it" some time down the road.
If it isn't a big deal to you now and you know you'll probably just get used to it and forget about it in a couple of months anyways, then sure, it might not be worth the "hassle".
Whatever you think.

The new goggles also do nothing.

It is, but depending on the laptop it might be VERY difficult to do, sometimes they require special tools and such to disassemble a laptop down to that level.
Unless you really know what you are doing, enough that you know you wouldn't void the warranty, I wouldn't try that.

Well there's a Campus Tech store that does computer repairs and such, so I'll go visit them and ask them if they can do it or not. Thanks

Make Dell do it for free. Call them up and arrange to send back the new one instead of the old.

I guess, I used to repair laptops and I just know that the difficulty can vary wildly, to the point that even after training getting a laptop back together properly without breaking or leaving marks in the case is difficult.
I would hate for you to get the screen exchanged and then have Dell reject the return because they could see that the screens were exchanged and you be on the hook for 2 laptops.

Anyway, how frequent are dead pixels on laptop LCD screen?
I mean what are the chances that the replacement laptop they send next, has dead pixels on them?

Different manufacturers have different tolerances for the number of dead pixels considered "acceptable". Some even distinguish between bright and dark dead pixels, a dark dead pixel being considered less serious.
I would just keep pestering Dell until the get it right - in general, on laptop screens, I've found it pretty unusual for there to be dead pixels, so odds are good the next machine you get will be OK.

It turns out that the HDrive in the new computer was making excessive noise compared to the old one so I just swapped the two HDrive and now everything is fine and the noisy HDrive is getting sent back to Dell.
For some reason, West Digital HDrive was a lot more quiet than Seagate HDrive.

Yes but that would void the warranty if you do it yourself and Dell wouldnt send a tech for dead pixels.

Wow, did you get the extended warranty?
To answer you question, yes they can replace the LCD on a laptop. It requires quite a bit or work with most as they have to remove alot of housing.

No, I just got the regular warranty.
They wanted to send out a technician but I just told them to build me a new laptop which they did.
But to fix the problem, instead of swapping the screens, I just swapped the HDrive and everything works fine now.
