Trade in DVD's for Blu-Ray (US Only)

Came across this and thought it was cool. WB is offering to send you a Blu-Ray version of regular DVD titles (for a fee of course and for S&H) that you have sitting on your shelf.

US only unfortunatley, hopefully we can get something like this up here one day. Pretty cool. Not many titles to choose from yet, but i'm sure that will increase over time.

I was quite saddened to see this was US only as well. I'm at a weird place with movies lately. I would kinda like to make the transition to a full digital setup, but HD can be a bit of a stickler. It's often hard to find legit, legal versions of many HD movies in Canada at the moment (that aren't on bluray). The states is ahead of the curve (as they are with most things like this) and I hope we catch up shortly.

Worst part is I think it's only Warner Bros. DVDs that they take back and have movies for.
It's only from the WB online shop which might explain the lack of other DVDs.
Personally I could use a service like this if it were for everybody and not just WB.
Besides some Blu-Ray discs I've bought were $9.99 just the other day.
