Default Fav Halloween show\movie

What show\movie do you have to watch for Halloween?
Personally I love Garfields Halloween, I have watched this every year since I was a kid and cannot go a year without it.
As for movies I love the original Halloween movies.

Sleepy Hollow....Great Movie, just saw it a few days ago.....reminds of the Goofy cartoon with the headless horseman, kind of spooky back in the day actually.

I have to agree with the Garfield Halloween Special, with It's the Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown a close second. Was great to see them both on YTV last night.

The Shining is my all time favorite scary movie, but I don't make a point of watching it at Halloween.

The Saw franchise has become a Halloween staple the last couple years, so I'm always in a theatre around this time of year.

One of my other favorites that I haven't seen in years was the TV Movie "IT". The first half is very good. I have memories, being 8 years old sitting in the dark cold basement by myself, watching that movie and running up the stairs to Mom when the photo of the dead kid winks at his brother. The second half of the movie is probably the worst two hours in film history not called Black Knight with Martin Lawrence.

The Simpsons "Treehouse of Horror" halloween specials are must-sees. They've been going downhill in recent years though.

While I don't agree with his take of The Shining, I stand by his love of SAW. If there's a movie I try and watch during the 'holiday season', it's the original SAW.

Paul Lynde's Halloween Special with KISS. This made quite an impression on 10 year old troutman.

I have never been into the Halloween season, have alway's been a Christmas guy. Just spent $400 bucks on Christmas lights for my new house this weekend. I am addicted to NOMA Christmas lights from Canadian tire.

My sister and I watch the same 6 movies every Halloween.

Nightmare Before Christmas
Sleepy Hollow
Beetle Juice
Hocus Pocus
Ghostbusters 1 and 2

This year we've added Sweeney Todd into the mix. I also love the Garfield cartoon, which reminds me that I should check what day it's on YTV this year.

Garfield is on again on YTV on Tuesday (10/27) at 7:30pm MST.

And if anyone wants, the Charlie Brown one is on Tuesday on KXLY at 9pm MST or Wednesday at 7:30pm MST on YTV.

I agree with trying to watch the early Treehouse of Horrors episodes. Also, I try and watch either the Friday the 13th series or the Halloween movies to fill my gore quota.

Also - I always watch Poltergeist 2. That Reverend Kane will creep me out until the day I die.

*shivers*

The chanting and the yelling... even his teeth creep me out.
