Image Hosting Question - Calgarypuck Forums - The Unofficial Calgary Flames Fan Community

All my images, sig. etc. have been removed because I have exceeded my Bandwidth of 10.5 GB with PhotoBucket.

I'm assuming the more people that view the hosted image, the more Gb's it uses up.

Are all the imaging hosting sites like this?

Is there a better alternative to PhotoBucket?

....What host do you use?

I keep most of my photos in the public folder of my dropbox. I like that the folder appears on my desktop and acts like any other folder, except that every file is hosted on the interwebs (safe from computer crash) and can have a url associated with it for quick and easy sharing (like posting a photo).

I use imageshack but that's just for random uploads, I don't keep an album.

Imageshack for me as well whenever I do a quick PS for this forum. Otherwise go with tinypic or something if you want to recall it if need be.

depending on the host, sometimes the image has trouble loading or just does not show up. at least for me.

I've never had issues with that host until now, And I'm still not sure I understand the whole "bandwidth" thing. I'm thinking it might be the "Stupid Oilers" GIF I posted in Funny Picture thread.....?

As of now, thanks to CP community, I'm trying tinypic.
