A couple comments
- A bunch of rosters were incomplete, mainly on the farm. Please make sure that you are submitting complete lines. I understand it's a new sim so we will be somewhat patient, but it took about 20 minutes longer to sim today because of all the problems. It makes it a frustrating process for us.
- And because it took so long to sim - I didn't have time to add a bunch of free agent signees to the rosters. I'll do that tomorrow.

Not the best start..on the plus side we did shut down the Kings top line...we just couldn't do it to the secondary guys.

My bad, I forgot to get the farm lines straightened out...sorry.

As for the game, I feel like the Vancouver Canucks. Great pre-season, outshoot the opposing team 38-22, but Nabokov licked some pouch and we end up losing 5-4...the Jackets scored with 3 seconds left...brutal.

I'll be mixing up my lines a bit, they weren't great near the end of pre-season and it's apparent here as well. Oh well, we'll move on to tomorrow.

Very pleased with the first games performance. This line formation had a good day in the last preseason game against the Sharks (admittedly they played the backup) and I kept them together today.

Brunnstrom had 2 goals, including the game winner in OT.
Second line of Cooke-Dubinsky-Park had a great game as they got the other 3 goals. 3 points by Souray after a so-so preseason.

I've been having trouble with the penalty kill units, Tampa got 2 PPG's today on 5 attempts. I know we don't have a great goalie, but I have enough defensive forwards to have a kill success rate better than this.

The Wild open up with a nice win against one of the top teams in the CPHL. Tomas Vanek, who had a quiet pre-seson leads the way with 3 points, while Shea Weber and Paul Kariya pick up two each.

Lots of players fatigued though - clearly have to watch how I manage ice-time a little more closely.

Thrashers lose to one of the top teams in the CPHL 5-2. Got to change up the defensive strategy for tomorrow's game against the Oilers.

What a game for Lombo (5 pts) and Moreau (4 pts). Hard fought game but we wanted it more and worked hard for the win
