Does anybody else here play sports select? If so how often do u win and how much? I usually bet about 2$ once a week on a ticket, and the most i have won is 50 dollars. When I surpase my winnings with paying then ill probably stop buying them for a while. I wish i could try my luck on hockey, but it makes basket ball more interesting.

I play sometimes. Most I've won is 222$ on a 5 dollar ticket, and thats just with the regular old proline. (6 teams picked).

I haven't been playing much, usually just play hockey when I do it.

The last time I played sports select I had a $100,000.00 ticket.

This was back in 2001 or something. I havent played since.

I put down $2 dollars and picked odds at like 5.75, 6, 5.5 etc......

The odds max out at 50,000:1

I will try to find it and scan it if I can.

I used to play it weekly for football and occasionaly for basketball. Now I have switched on online betting, so much better becuase you can pick just ONE game and don't have to win by a certain amount of points.
Won quite a bit while playing Pro Line last year.

Yeah, i dont like the basketball 6 point spread. It has screwed me out of winnings plenty. One time I picked all the winners for like two hundred dollars, and i just had to wait for the raptors game to finish, and with like .2 seconds left the opposing player made an impossible half court shot and got 3 points and that gave the raptors only a 3 point win instead of 6

If your intrested at all the site I use now is

www.sportsinteraction.com

It has straight up wins and constantly updated spreads. The only problem I had was getting money into my account becuase most banks don't allow you to put your money into "online gaming" sites.

The Calgary Flames and some other team.

I actually went 4/6 on that ticket.

The Flames won the game 3-1 in Montreal. Vernon was playing like it was 1989 not 2001.

He robbed Koivu and then the Flames scored in the empty net.

I also like to play that game called Sports Select. Actually, I've been addicted to it since I was 17.....(sitting in Bio class with buds just looking at all our tickets)

The NFL is easily the hardest to pick.....I spent well over $350 this year and didn't get a sniff. I like playing hockey and baseball too, basketball is okay i guess, but i haven't been playing nearly as much this year since football's done and hockey is gone. The most I've ever won was a $3 basketball ticket which paid out $350.

I think i've turned my gambling needs towards poker...live and online. Boy, is online poker (real $$$) ever addicting.

I havent tried to bet on sports online yet....but I'm curious. Do you generally have to deposit a minimum of $50 into the account, and does the "bookie" take a cut?

Started with Sports Select but boy is it hard to win!

I've switched to Willhill.com
Lots and lots of sports to bet on and you can play one game at a time! No more 3 game minimum or ties!

I also use Sportsinteraction..the odds are superior and you can bet anyway you like...don't have to pick three winners.
It's easy to use if you have a credit card, canadian funds are accepted and $2 bets are also accepted. Far better way to go in my opinion.
Sure made a killing betting on the Flames in the playoffs!

Word! I started out with Sports Select and I would win $20 after spending $60, what a ripoff! Most I won was $120 on a $20 bet. AND THEN I found the miracle known as SportsInteraction.com...registration was kinda a bitch with the faxing and everything but boy oh boy did I make a killing off those idiots who gave the Flames almost 3 to 1 odds every series, it wasn't until the SC finals that they've smartened up slightly bwahahahaha I used the winnings to catch game 5 in Tampa and didn't work ALL SUMMER Damn I miss hockey

I've surfed through there several times and have always been tempted to join up, especially during hockey season. Good to hear others experiences there. Looks like you can bet on damn near anything. Only fear I have is the link to online poker and casino, not to sure if that stuff is a good idea. Just a little to conveeeeeeeeenient if you know what I mean
