It was true, but outdated. That email has being going around great guns lately.

Did you know that most things that are "Snoped" are in fact invented by the site owners of Snopes to increase traffic to their BS site?

Seriously, they perpetuate and invent things like this just so that their site can exist.

I only know this because I looked it up on Snopes...

Honestly, I wouldn't have either, but I just remembered that a thread like this was posted on another forum I frequent last week. I didn't read it because I'm not a pet person, but just went back there to see if it was the same thing and found the snopes link in that thread.

I got this email this morning. Usually I'm really good about checking snopes but I didn't bother this time for some reason. Thank god i didn't forward it along, otherwise I wouldn't be able to ridicule the woman who did. Phew! Thanks CP!
