New Episode of Lost comes on tonight. Here is the synopsis from Abc.com
Quote:
After the missing Claire returns with no recollection of what has happened since before the doomed flight of Oceanic 815, Jack and Locke formulate a plan of defense against her kidnapper, the mysterious Ethan, who threatens to kill off the other survivors unless Claire is returned to him.
It looked like Clarie's baby was missing when she came back during the last episode, she didn't look pregnant anymore, no big tummy. Am I the only one who caught this?

Plus i think Tom Cruises' cousin kills someone this episode. or can he? i don't think people can die on the island. I still hope that the little black kid can make the Flash and Green Lantern appear on the island with his powers.

People have died already on the island. The lady that drowned, the pilot, and the cop guy who was flying with Kate.

Yeah, Claire wasn't pregnant any more when she showed up. The synopsis you gave is pretty much exaclty what I saw on the trailer (preview?) I saw on T.V. This is one of the first new T.V. show in like 4 years to actually capture my attention enough to watch.

Great show, the only one I would willingly tune into week after week.

I wish they would stop being such a tease about everything.

I bet 4 years from now we won't know anything new.

Now I stand to be corrected, but I thought I heard that the series was written to have 50 episodes total. 25 to air this year, and 25 for next. Of course being that it's drawn good enough ratings not to get cancelled, they may look to stretch the time frame of the series.

Is it just me, or are other finding their interest in the show starting to tail off, just because I can't help but feel nothing is really happening every episode.

I said this exact same thing a few weeks ago and caught a bunch of flak for it. Well, I am here today to say I have officially had it with this show. I loved it for a long time, but 13 weeks with no answers, nothing, is too much for me. Then when we finally at least have a glimpse of a possibility of some answers (capture of Ethan), Charlie shoots him! Bush league writing there my friends.

I love suspense as much as anyone, but 13 hours of it? I'm done watching.

I thought last night's episode was great. I wanted to hear what Ethan had to say, but I'm glad they killed him rather then end the episode with him about to open his mouth or something. Finally, a (tiny) degree of closure.

Anyone surmise there might be more between Ethan and Charlie than we're lead to believe? He wastes the guy on sight, without a moment's hesitation. Sure it could have been to 'protect' Claire, but wouldn't it be cool if somehow the kidnapping affected/changed/has something to do w/ Charlie that we don't know yet?

And why did Ethan want her so bad? Strange stuff.

Well, I am kinda shocked here. I made a prediction with this show that they would get rescued and one of them would end up going to trial for killing someone while they were on the island. I havent watched the show in months but it looks like that might be one step closer to happening. That would be a cool twist leading into the second season.

That's why the X-files was so popular. We never find out anything on the x-files. Everytime Mulder finds an alien or monster and has evidence of it, something happens and the evidence is lost or the creature escapes and we never see it again.

That's what makes Lost so great.

I think that having Ethan killed will provide for more intriuge in the future episodes. Now that the group doesn't have the answers they were looking for it forces them to explore and search the rest of the island. At least I hope they do. The worst thing the writers and producers could do, is give away the answer of why the scientists were on the island too soon.
