My modem is shot, Shaw tech came to confirm, signal is strong and no issues with the cable, need a new modem.

Thought I would get a free replacement but it turns out that I paid for it myself years ago and started using it with CIA/3Web.

Let me know if you have one for sale, thanks.

I thought shaw offered free modem replacements, maybe call the downtown shaw Hq and explain your situation.

Wow, mine is hooped as well. Keeps losing the signal, then takes a minute to reboot and works again. It's doing this every few hours.

Thanks to Nammer403 for the Shaw modem free of charge.

The first tech I spoke to told me it would work but unfortunately when I called back to activate it I was told I specifically need the Surfboard model.

Thanks anyways, but have since got my hands on one.
