Ask me on MSN and I can send you the roster file. You need it before you can set proper lines for tomorrow.

Yes we have news...and it is BAD!!!
The server is apparently on its last legs. It doesnt look good for immediate repair, but news is it will be back within 2 days. ...we hope....and then IF it is back we may be approaching Armegedon as it stands. Once that finality has been reached there is no repair and it will not be put back online.

Again we are desperately looking for another server to host our files in A Unix environment I believe....confer with Cam for exact vintage etc etc. IF anyone has knowledge of anyone that has a server where we could share space and who would be willing to give is FTP rights and space we would much appreciate hearing about it sooner rather than later.
Email Cam Schuler and I if you have any ideas.

Thanks

Does it have to be Unix. Can we host it in a Linux environment. Or is Linux the same as Unix.

Right now it is business as usual. KevinGuy has been MSN the Roster File to the GMs. Then the GMs MSN and so on.

I am sure if its down for a little while KevinGuy can post the file as Cheese did earlier in the year.

I'm sure games are a go, however, trades can not be completed without the server. Unless someone is prepared to process the deals manually. While it was done this way pre-trade forms, if I recall it was a huge headache.

I have had a deal in place since last night (big shocker I know). Do I have to wait for the server to come up before I can put the trade through or is there some other way I can get the deal done because it is one that will help me asap.

Cam, please contact me via email.
I have spoken to my friend jeff, who is a computer wizard.
and I have the hardware capabilities in order to house the server here.
Jeff requires technical data for monthly data throughput that the website receives.
If you are not completely sure, your best guess would be appreciated.
this way we can contact telus to find out what the added cost if any would be.
let me know, I wanna help.
best regards
Axel

IF there are any additional costs associated with a new server, the Islanders would be more than willing to chip in!

Sure...we'll just offer them a team, and everybody can chip in some cap space to pay for the server. :P
