Default Pre-season Day 1 Results

The first day of pre-season sim games are in the books.

Please click on the schedule link on the main page to see the results (can't copy and paste into this forum).

The roster file has been updated:
http://cphl.calgarypuck.com/download/CPHL1.sts

I've also started to update the CPHL site itself to work with the new sim (all the sim outputs). There's more work to be done on it but you can start seeing some of the new stat pages using the appropriate links. I know some aren't correct yet, lots more still to do.

Well good start to the preseason for the Ducks. Our D is expected to play a big role in the scoring for our club and they got off to the right start today in a 5-2 win over the Stars.

Bouwmeester stepped up with 1G and 1A and 2 other Dmen also came forward with goals (Lebda and Sauer). So far Crosby has been silent but the depth of this team has been able to contribute.

Flyers with a solid showing

The big guns lead the Flyers to a 5-1 win over the Devils. The powerplay clicked as the team scored 2 powerplay goals.

The 3 stars were
1 - Daniel Alfredsson (PHI)
2 - Erik Johnson (PHI)
3 - Phil Kessel (PHI)

Also impressive was the tight defensive play allowing only 8 shots on the net. The lines we tried looked to work but expect changes for the next game anyhow.

The Phantoms also won their game, 2-0, shutout by Jimmy Howard.

Well we in Dallas lost the game to the surprise of no one.

Was pleased with the way Yandle played, I put him on the top pair as a trial and he had a good game with 2 assists. Top line got both of our teams goals.

Pens offense sleeps through 2nd straight game. Lines were mixed up in this one, maybe time to change the lines a little more drastically.

The Predators edged the Wings and of course we're happy with that start. I just wanted to comment that the new output from the sim is so awesome! I don't know that I would want to suffer the shame of reading this when we lose 9-2 or whatever, but its still very cool to see everything down in such detail!

Wow weird game, Rangers win 2-1 but the shots were 16 to 11.... guess both teams are playing the trap...

Interesting to see that 3 of the top 4 Centers from the Rangers finished with greater than 50% faceoff percentage... that should be a good thing.

I think I've updated all the site links. You'll notice there's some new stats items, and some olds ones have been dropped.
If you notice anything not working PM me please.

Habs win a close one against Ottawa 3-2. Shots were 17-12, that's low. We scored three straight in the first period but nothing afterwards. So far we've allowed 19 shots in the 2 games SIMMED, I'd be quite happy if that trend continued.

In my AHL game, Unknown Player had a goal and two assists with 0min of icetime, he's the ghost of Hamilton Bulldogs past. I'll have to keep him out there.
