Ya he was
In 1986 when the flames were on that 11 game losing streak, there was a line in one of the shows, where Macgyver looks at a paper and says, 'Oh the Flames lose again' - Then Gretz got traded to the Kings and Richard Dean Anderson jumped on the bandwagon.

That was the very first episode. He turned the newspaper into a telescope after hearing the bad news about the Flames.
Richard Dean Anderson is like a Canucks fan now though I think. I don't know if he's still a Flames fan. He's lived in Vancouver since the last couple seasons of Macguyver.
There are a ton of threads on this already in the history of CP. Just do a search for Richard Dean Anderson or Macguyver. I think one guy said that he met him at a Flames/Oilers game in the 80s and Flames were behind and they asked him to Macguyver something up to stop Grant Fuhr.
