I sent my lines in without setting my farm lines, do I need to set farm lines before sending them in?

I put in some AHL lines. I was tempted to start this guy on my roster named unknown goalie, and try unknown player as my top line center. I think they'll become personal favorites of coach, unknown coach.

The sim seems to fill in guys like that when it can't find a way to auto farm lines.

No farm lines for me either. I was having issues with the SIM this morning, so I hope the NHL lines came thru okay.
