Default List your top 10 NFL Quarterbacks!

With all the conversation going on in the NFL thread about certain quarterbacks, I thought i'd break open the discussion. List your top 10 NFL quarterbacks. How am I ranking mine? I'm judging them by who would I want to have as a starter on my team for the 2009 season.

1. Peyton Manning - Indianapolis Colts
2. Tom Brady - New England Patriots
3. Drew Brees - New Orleans Saints
4. Ben Roethlisberger - Pittsburgh Steelers
5. Philip Rivers - San Diego Chargers
6. Donovan McNabb - Philadelphia Eagles
7. Jay Cutler - Chicago Bears
8. Eli Manning - New York Giants
9. Aaron Rodgers - Green Bay Packers
10. Tony Romo - Dallas Cowboys

My list is obviously going to be very different from other people but let's see those lists! A lot of other good QB's in the league as well (Palmer, Warner, Ryan, Pennington, Delhomme, etc etc!)

Good lists so far! It seems like 6-7 of the top 10 are usually consistent and then 2-3 guys change (makes sense)!

McNabb.

Everyone else is decent, but give my man a good receiver corps and it's over.

How is Eli Manning making peoples Top 10? When his completion % is over 55% and gets less than 2 INT's a game, you call me.

My list is in no particular order. Hard to judge between different era's.

Sammy Baugh, Washington Red Skins
Johnny Unitas, Baltimore Colts
Otto Graham, Cleveland Browns
Peyton Manning, Indianapolis Colts
Brett Favre, Green Bay Packers
Joe Montana, San Francisco 49ers
Roger Staubach, Dallas Cowboys
John Elway, Denver Broncos
Tom Brady, New England Patriots
Bart Star, Green Bay Packers

Honorable Mention:

Fran Tarkenton, Minnesota Vikings
Dan Marino, Miami Dolphins
Steve Young, San Francisco 49ers

Tough to keep Dan and Fran out of the top 10. Who do you take out to make room for them?

Mcnabb is overrated and he is already whining, yet again.... before the season even starts. in saying that, Philly fans should be careful what they ask for when trying to dump this guy. He is better than a lot of QB's out there. to me he seems like a high maintenence Biatch....

Anyone who puts Manning ahead of Brady is just nuts. End of discussion 3 superbowl rings takes care of that argument.

And for people who want to argue, look at the weapons that manning has had his entire career.

Bradys best reciever up until 2007 (moss) was Branch. Hows Branch makin out in Seattle? Last I heard hes a boarderline camp cut!

Case closed.

Does that mean Charles Haley is the greatest football player ever? A lot more to a player than just Super Bowl rings alone.

I agree that defense in Indy has been dynamite. Never once cost him a chance at a Super Bowl.
