Default FS 1998 Volvo Turbo Wagon $4250 (pics coming)

I am really sad to sell this great car...but like its time for this Swede to go...hopefully to someone with a family or a desire for a fast car...

For the speed freaks
This 1998 Volvo V70 T-5 with a 5-speed manual transmission (rare)...she has ~240hp...she can go from 0-60 in the mid 7's and is really quick

For the practical types
I get about 9l/100km (~26mpg) average driving (99% highway)...very reliable...safe (ABS, Traction control, side airbags etc)...as it a wagon so it carries sooo much stuff...trailer hitch

For the decadent
The Volvo's have the most comfortable seats in the business...great stereo...sunroof...power everything

I've always taken the car into the Volvo dealers in Edmonton/Calgary or Mr Volvo...full records available.

This car is discounted heavily since it has a lot of highway km's on it, however well maintained volvo's are almost eternal. I'd have no problem driving this car across the country...

Bottom line, you will have a hard time finding a faster, safer or practical car for this price. Here are a few reviews

Pics will come soon...tomorrow with any luck
Condition is very good. Drives very smoothly.
Here are the issues there are two switches that need replacing. The first is the cruise control it's about $50 to get a replacement part. The second switch is on the power seat but it doesn't affect anything since you can use the memory seat switch instead. Other than that she is good.

How many Km's?

How large are the backseats? Is there plenty room back there for two carseats?

It has ~300,000km...however before you run away screaming these are almost all highway and Volvo's are known for their longevity...honestly it drives like it has half of that.

The backseat is a very good size and would easily hold 2 carseats. Note that it doesn't have the LATCH system, so you need to use the seatbelts (which I think is easier...at least with the carseats we use). If you have the strap that drapes off the back of the seat you would need to install another anchor point. The holes are already there you just need to get the bolt/anchor ($10-$40). We have one already installed in the middle that you could move, the process is uber easy and not expensive.

Update...I picked up the new (to me) car...a 05 Forester XT and I have to say that the Volvo is superior to the Subie in many ways...better clutch action...more comfortable...more quiet...more power...and smoother. However the Subie is definitely more nimble.

I still am committed to selling the Volvo but I thought a prospective buyer might like to know.
