It's better, but that's like saying solid feces is better than diarrhea. No hardware acceleration on Mac's, which Adobe blames on Apple. NHL Gamecentre Live does run better than it used to, at least. It also reintroduces the bug where scrolling past Flash objects causes your browser to stop scrolling as soon as the pointer hits the flash object. As an example, scroll through any forum thread here with embedded YouTube vids.
When upgrading on any machine, Macs included, you should use Adobe's uninstaller, found here:
http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/141/tn_14157.html , prior to installing the new version, to ensure a clean upgrade.
