Safeway have a special on Campbell's Soup this week. $10.99 for a case of 12 cans of either Vegetable, Mushroom, Chicken Noodle or Tomato. These cases usually sell for twice that cost. I have seen a lot of their soup selling for $3.00 + per can.
Freestone Produce in the NE is the best deals on Fruits and Vegetables you can find. Cant quote pricings cause the wife does the shopping but she claims buying a flat of strawberries there is the same price as 1 or 2 containers at Sobeys or Safeway. Pretty sure its the same brands/companies too. I havent noticed any drop off in quality. And I prefer their HoneyCrisp apples to the other grocery stores.

They must have great deals because that place is worse than Costco for strugglers going in and out of their parking lot. They need a location with better access and more parking.
The Flipp app is great too. Doesn't give you any discounts or anything but you get everyone's flyers so you can look on the day the stores refresh and then add things to a list for your shopping. Been using it forever now! You can also search for items to find out where it's selling for the least!

Also, I guess this is what the kids call a "hack" but produce in Chinatown is often consistently cheaper when compared to big box stores. Don't be shy!
There's been someone on Reddit Calgary that posts what they think are decent food deals every Wednesday for the upcoming week- Great idea in these high price-gouging times

Flipp is awesome and works everywhere in NA. The only knock on it is they don't get all of the flyers for every store in the area.

The list is cool and all, but I unless the stores are in close proximity to each other I am just buying stuff from 1 place. Whatever I save in groceries would be wasted in gas.
I am lucky because I can go to Costco, Walmart, No Frills and Safeway and they are close to each other.

^ Superstore often matches Walmart sale items, the catch being they will (understandably) put in store limits on the items. So if you want 4 containers of margarine at the sale price you’ll have to go to Walmart, however if you’re in Superstore you can pick one up at the matched sale price.

Yup this.
For meat prices it's pretty great.
If you are the type who only likes to go to one store, you can show the flip app price at the meat counter at Save On and they will adjust it right there (has to be the exact same though - quality/type and warehouse pack or not).
Normally I don't worry about price matching smaller items, but savings on protein can be huge.
I'm fortunate that I have 3 of the big boys in my hood plus a T&T, so I'll buy whatever is the cheapest at wherever and visit all 4 stores, potentially as they're 5 min walk from each other. And then I also have an actual butcher with higher quality meat if I feel like that about 10 min walk away. My meals are determined by whatever is on sale most of the time unless I feel like butcher meat.

T and T always has a special place in my heart. Went with my dad and he asked them to weigh a live fish. It came up to like 60 bucks. Without hesitation the guy started chopping my dad was like wtf I didn’t say yes and ran away leaving me to stand there like an idiot.
