Default Parking Ticket in Edmonchook

I got a parking ticket in Edmonchuck on the weekend. Do I have to pay this ticket? I don't plan to be back there for a long time (for obvious reasons).

Is there an extradition agreement in place between Calgary and Edmonton?

Don't unpaid municpal parking tickets prevent registration of a vehicle alberta-wide until paid?

Yup. That's why you park in the private parking lots as they seemingly won't pursue you until you have thousands in unpaid fines.

damn.... if theres an extradition agreement I'd just pay the fines. Not worth being extradited to Siberia over a parking ticket.

Mail the ticket back and say you do not have to pay the ticket since you are the Deputy Chief of CSIS

Quote:
Police: CIA impersonator says he's immune from speed laws, refuses to pay fine

MOUNT CARMEL, Tennessee - Police in northeast Tennessee say Scott Gibson isn't the deputy director of the CIA - and he'd have to pay his $75 speeding fine even if he were.
On June 29, a Mount Carmel speed camera clocked the 56-year-old Rogersville resident going 66 mph (106 kph) in a 55 mph (89 kph) zone. He was sent a ticket.
Assistant Police Chief Mike Campbell says Gibson mailed back a copy of the citation with a handwritten note, claiming he wasn't subject to local speed zones because he was the deputy chief of the CIA, WJHL-TV reported.
