Default Good promo at Rogers Video re- Madden 10

http://www.rogersplus.ca/games/games...ble_titles.asp

I have zero interest in Madden myself, but I'm sure some of you do. This is a great deal.

And actually it isn't just Madden, there are other deals to be had, but I thought Madden would be the most popular.

Good post. Sports Illustrated also has a deal where if you subscribe for a year you get the game for free. Depends on the deal you like.

hmmmm thats tempting, I would have to trade COD4 (never play anymore) and NHL 09 (still play a little, but its only a month before 10 comes out)

decisions

so essentially if your not a star rewards member it costs you 10 bucks

I would trade NHL 09 in now before its TIV plummets. Go to EB games and you can do a trade 3 get 1 free. Some EB games have trade 2 +$20 for NHL.

So it probably would be a good idea to trade in COD4 + NHL + (crap game) or pay $23.333 or the $20 at specific eb games.

Last weekend they had trade 2 + $20 for Fight Night Round 4. The dude there said people weren't pre-ordering NHL or Madden as much as before, so I can see them doing it for a game each weekend.

Another thing you can do is Blockbuster Video is having a buy 2 get 1 free for used games. Can easily get 3 games for $40 ($30 if your lucky) that qualify for trade in at EB to get NHL10

Go to www.tivs.ca and you'll find a list of the values. For EB games, the minimum trade in must be $8 or more. So if you can scour stores for cheap games that is worth $8 at EB you can get a $70 for ~$30.

Holy crap, according to that site Futureshop will give you $30 for nhl 09. Hasn't been updated since May though, so perhaps it's less now.

any game with $8 trade in value or higher. tivs.ca has a list of recent trade in values, but they aren't always up to date.

Think if I gave them one game with a value of 25 they'd go for it?

Just an FYI a lot of reviews are starting to hit the web, so far it looks like we have reason to be very optimistic this year, looks good.
So far IGN and Teamxbox have them up and the teamxbox forums have a few dedicated madden fans who got the game early and have posted thoughts (pastapadre).

First impressions on the game (at least with finished version) is that it gives me that feeling I haven't had since Madden 06, 07 on PS2. That was the last one I played the whole season through and didn't give up until after a month like I have in recent years. So good outlook so far.
