Default Anyone ever been to Pullman, WA?

Planning a quick road trip to see a Washington State University football game -- any tips or suggestions of what to see/do in and around the WSU campus and/or Pullman generally? Are tickets pretty easy to get on gameday? How is the traffic heading out of Pullman after the game (I would imagine a lot of folks drive in from Spokane; I'll be staying in Coeur D'Alene/Post Falls area and likely stopping over in Moscow as well).

Tried to find a WSU message board but was largely unsuccessful; decided to take a shot in the dark on CP

Sorry, no real suggestions...but you'll see why they say that all dirt roads lead to Pullman. Not much there.

I've always been somewhat intrigued by how two Universities with Div 1A football teams were that close to each other, and that remote. I think it's only like 15 miles between Moscow and Pullman. Had I been able to keep living in Osoyoos, I would have made. Trip to see a game at both stadiums.

I wanted to see a game at the Kibbie Dome around the same time but unfortunately they aren't playing that weekend... saw some photos of the inside and it looks like a surreal place to watch a Division 1 football game (compared to the 100k stadiums around the US).

I haven't, I'm an Oregon State University season ticket holder (class of 2004). I will say that with the hiring of Mike Leach this year interest in WSU games has gone up. With their small stadium I'm guessing that tickets will be a little harder to come by then last year (but you shouldn't have too hard of a time finding some).

WSU fans are great (unlike Oregon Duck fans), I'm sure you'll have a great time.

Didn't OSU just cancel there blackout games because white students were painting themselves black and wearing afro wigs?

The only time I went to Pullman is to visit the SEL factory. They make protection relays.... Bused us in and out from Spokane. I heard something like 70% of the population works at that factory.

Did you even go to school at Oregon? Or are you another one of those "OMG I really like the uniforms" fans?

Oregon fans are pretty much the college equivalent to a Vancouver Canucks fan.

FYI, yes we can wear black again, because our president essentially told those who were making a stink about it to "shut up".

I will be dressed up as batman at our next "wear black" game.

Love Pullman. I go every year for a Cougs basketball game. Good pre game meals at the pub in the basement of their Students' Union buildings. The Coug is a great cheap place to drink after as well. Dingy, but that's really why you go there.

When people hear you're from Canada, they take you in and let you join their groups for the most part. It will depend on the bar that you go to and the crowd that's in it, but each time I've been to the Coug, I've ended up joining a group of people and hanging with them for the rest of the night.

Is Pullman near the magical intersection of Division and Sprague?
