i stumbled across this thing when i was looking up when season 4 starts up on showcase and nearly pissed myself from laughing so hard. this has to be one of the funniest bits of the whole series and it's not even officially part of the series. any fans definitely need to check it out

Never seen the show, but that was great. Great characters.

The fork was hilarious!

Rescue Me is a great show, and that was a really funny find.

It's almost half way through Season 4 and I've been downloading the torrents online.

There's also some cameo appearances from hockey players throughout the seasons, as Phil Esposito plays their hockey team coach, which is really funny might add.

season 3 seem to get a little on the depressing side when they started focusing too much on the drama side, but with season 4 they've seemed to righten the ship and balance the load better like they did with the first 2 seasons. one of the best shows on right now, and easily Denis Leary's best work he's ever done

This is a really old thread, but I figure i should post in here instead of starting a new thread.

I started watching Rescue Me this season, and caught maybe 6 episodes, but I hadn't seen any of the previous seasons so I went and got the first two seasons on DVD and i'm really enjoying this.

I always liked Denis Leary, so maybe that's why, but some of the other characters in the show I just love. Garrity is friggin hilarious, Sheila is a crazy bitch, and uncle Teddy, although kind of annoying, is also hilarious with his high pitched yelling.

The characters may be a little out there, with the sex and fighting and such, but it makes for a good show.

Ya, I've just recently started watching this show as well and am enjoying it. Didn't realize there's a few number of seasons out already.

Rescue Me is a great show, but it sure isn't one that's always going to make you feel all warm and fuzzy after watching. No feel good stories here.

I got off track watching this after around Season Two, so I'm going to have to start over.

We just got Season 1 at home, so I guess I'll start at the beginning.

Great show though!
