Stolen dog missing (now found)
This news story makes me shake with rage, but my point of posting it is given the large CP community someone might spot the dog and return it safe and sound.

All the info is in the article including a facebook group.

Oh my. My heart breaks for the family of the missing dog, knowing that whoever stole it was cruel and vicious to it. I hope they find the dog safe and sound and those kids go to jail.

They should take the 13 teens that were beating the dog and beat them with a sack of oranges, or whip them with a garden hose until they talk. Then they should charge their parents for raising a bunch of thugs and bullies.

I felt the rage too when I read the story. Thanks for starting a thread about it. Would be awesome to see that little dog back with his family.

Parents like that provide a strong case to support that statement from the Political Spectrum quiz: Some people should not be allowed to reproduce.
Darwin them all I say ... parents and spawn alike.

I can't even read the article... I get the gist from all your comments.
Tougher animal abuse laws/sentences are needed, IMO.

I'd like to take the lot of the little b*stards, surround then with a bunch of men, and have the men do the same thing they did to the dog and see if they like it. Perhaps a few days in the adult penitentiary.
Animal cruelty pisses me off so much because the animals have no real ability to fight back or get help. It also bothers me when someone does get tried for animal cruelty they tend to get incredibly light sentences. I say treat it the same as if they took a baby or toddler.

I sure hope the kids parents are compelling him to tell EVERYTHING he knows.

He was not wearing a collar because he had been playing in the yard.
That's no reason not to have a collar on . . . . . . put it on and leave it there, even in your fenced yard. I'd wonder if the dog has a tracking chip or stamped ears to help with ID later.
I hope they find him . . . . although the thug saying the dog simply got away from him is the likely answer.
I really think that there needs to be tougher punishments for crimes against animals.
Very definitely. Such laws would serve to protect us all by likely identifying disturbed individuals sooner.
