Celebrated Square Root Day

Anyone live in Cougar ridge? We need you...
We're going to the virgin festival on Saturday, aug 8th. What we need is one or two open spaces for a car and truck. We would prefer a house that's pretty close to COP.
We won't be bothersome, as all we're going to do is show up Friday night, take a tent and some beer out of the trunk, and then venture off into the night, and we won't be back until Sunday morning, unless we run out of beer, then we may venture back to do a beer run, unless there's a liqour store within walking distance.
So if you live near COP, and have an extra parking space or two, let me know. We can pay you in beer or money.

I don't live there, but I'm pretty sure there is a Liquor Store behind the McDonalds on Bowfort Road.

There's a coop liquor store just down on 85th.
I have a buddy that lives in Cougar Ridge... I could ask, but I'm not sure how receptive he'll be
But, come to think of it, there's a soccer field in Cougar Ridge. Why not just park there?

We were going to go scout out the area tonight actually. I'll check out this so called 'soccerfield' while we're there.

I assume this is some kind of joke. If not, you may wish to read the FAQ:
http://www.virginfestival.ca/alberta/info/faq.php
- No outside liquor
- No camping
- No exit and re-entry.
Please don't try to set up an impromptu campsite in the COP woods. That's so not cool.

We live up round those parts! Already talked about loaning out parking spots. But really, there's more than enough parking around there. It could be a hike to COP, but nothing too major. If for some reason the city gets stupid with parking, pm me, we will work something out.

There was some material in his deleted post that I was reacting to, but I won't repeat it out of respect to the OP.
Now get off my grass you damn kids!

Thanks man, we went for a tour of the area on our way to a hockey game tonight, and we've come up with an awesome plan that can't possibly fail!
* Unless it fails, which is a possibility
Are you sure about the parking though? There's going to be 20 000 people there, which means probably a minimum of 5000 cars. I could see it being pretty bad.

To be fair, you pretty much did repeat it by saying "please don't try to set up an impromtu camp site in the COP woods".

Is there some reason you can't park in the GIANT parking lot at the bottom of COP?

Don't you think that maybe, just maybe, the security at COP will be expecting people to try to camp out in the COP woods and will therefore be on the lookout for it? If it works that's great, I just don't see it being all that easy.

COP security would have no jurisdiction over anything outside of COP property. Sure, they could call CPS, but I'm willing to bet there'll be bigger and badder things happening that they'll attend to.
Crazy landowners with guns... now there's another problem.
