UFA grid is 3 year one way contracts at those rates. If you want to risk letting a player hit the UFA market, you can, but than you're playing Russian roullette.

Under rules:

If you re-sign one of your current UFAs, the contract will be for 3 years. No exceptions.

All UFA contracts are one way.
