Storage Companies

I've got a friend that is moving from a house to a condo, so he's in need of some storage space.

Anyone had any good or bad experiences with specific companies?!

When I was in school in Edmonton I used to store my stuff at a UHaul so my parents didnt have to drive it back and forth durring the summers. I had a great experience with them. They arent the cheapest for long term storage though.

Has anyone had any experience with PODS? That seems like a smart concept, though I'm not sure how well they deliver in practice.
