Why does crappy stuff have to happen on certain days

So today is my wedding anniversary, 5 years. Anyways on a previous wedding anniversary I had to plan out my dads funeral which was rough but I dealt with it. Today, I more or less find out that I'm essentially given an ultimatum to either quit my job or move out of where I live. Which finding a new place to live could be tricky given I have two dogs that aren't exactly small. Although I guess I could look to buy some type of place since the real estate market may have bottomed out again if I can find someone who'll lend to me. The type of thing I should discuss with my wife, and soon. But do I really want to wreck another anniversary? Of course the fact that she's been terribly ill for like 10 days leading up caused us to cancel a trip we had planned already has made the day less than stellar. Argh...why couldn't I have just heard this on Monday. End of rant.

What situation gives that kind of ultimatum? Are you dealing crack from your apartment?
I see no harm in waiting until Monday.

Well I have myself to blame for it. Due to the current situation I can't elaborate too much beyond what I've already said as things said on the internet can end up places you never forsaw yourself (*cough Roger Millions *cough). It was going to happen one day, and this is probably a kick in the arse I need. Just would have preferred it on a different day.

Good luck with your situation. I know it's hard finding a place to rent when you have dogs which sucks and finding a bank to lend money these days is harder than getting someone to sign with the oilers.
