Girl punk sucks.. The Donna's are no exception to that rule, I saw them at Warped Tour a few years back, Fat Mike was pimping them, and they blew as much as I thought they would.

Tim McGraw's coming here as well. 16th of July, during the Stampede. That's going to be an amazing show.

I like girl punk. Hell, during the 90s when all those cheezy pop-punk groups were coming out, it was the riot girl scene that kept punk alive for the most part.
I'd take any girl punk group over Sum 41, Treble Charger, Green Day, or Offspring.

Rise Against/Brazil and Killswitch Engage/My Chemical Romance are coming in the spring. That's all I need to hold me 'til Warped.
Speaking of Warped, anyone pumped about the line-up this year? Thrice, hopesfall, Strike Anywhere, Strung Out, My Chemical Romance, Boys Night Out, Funeral For A Friend, Silverstein.
Let's just hope none of these bands skip out on Calgary, which seems to happen a lot.

I hate the Donnas. They blow, one of the worst bands ever.
Queens of the Stone Age would be crazy deelow, you're right. Those guys rock pretty hard.
Do you know if Dave Grohl tours with them?

Rise against is a great show, I've seen them three or four times now, always put on one hell of a live show though their newest album is nothing compared to their first two, its still solid.. I hear killswitch engage puts on one hell of a show, I've been listening to their newest album a lot the past couple months, definetly one of my favourite bands at the moment. I don't know if I want to pay money to see the other crappy bands on that bill, because the rest of the taste of choas tour is not too promising, especially since I've been told you have seats.. SEATS?? For a so called punk show, thats horrible..My chemical romance is better live than on their recording, but thats not saying much in my opinion..
As for warped tour, I heard Avenged Sevenfold is coming back.. Thats makes me happy enough, great live band, waking the fallen is such a good cd. Can't wait to see Thrice, I wanted to see them last year but couldn't make it, the illusion of safety is a great album. Strung out is always good, funeral for a friend should be good too. Dropkick murphy's are so good live, I'll be pumped to see them, as well as Atreyu..Somehow I've managed to miss flogging molly everytime even though they are one of the bands I go to see, hopefully they are back this year...
