Question Protective Goggles for Sports?

I've joined a ball hockey league, and I would like to get some protective goggles or glasses that can be fitted with prescription lenses. (something along the lines of these: http://www.sporteyes.com/recspecs.htm)

Most of the optical shops I have been to don't have any, or they just have one. Does anyone know of a place in Calgary that has a variety these?

Just get safety glasses instead of goggles. Or just wear normal glasses. I have yet to see anyone take a ball to the eye in any of my games

I am not worried about the ball, but more the sticks. Also, I could be having a cornea transplant sometime, and I would certainly need protective Rec Specs (or something like them) after that when playing sports.

Long story short, I don't want to take any chances.

if you're playing in a league that is that competitive that sticks are going to be flying around at eye level, just wear a helmet and cage

I've got a pair of rec-specs originals for basketball; just had my regular glasses knocked off and stepped on too many times. Problems I've found with this model are that peripheral vision is weak, and as soon as I get to the bench, they start fogging up. Next time I might get a pair that 'wraps' a bit more.

edit: oh, and I got mine at the lenscrafters in chinook, and yeah, they had just the one model.
