Default Sounds through computer speakers

It sounds like a radio station like cbc. It is very faint, but enough to hear.

Causes? Cures? Witchcraft maybe?

Very annoying.

Weird, haven't heard of that in a while. They are picking up a signal from somewhere, are they cheap little desktop speakers? Are they shielded speakers? Not sure if that makes any difference as I think the shielded speakers are done that way to prevent them from interfering with devices around them.

Odd though....

Maybe they are haunted or I am just hearing voices.

Switch where they are plugged in and see if that does anything.

Harmon/Kardon are solid speakers, they aren't your problem. Try what Madman suggested.

Do you mean power or another device?

Power, just to see if there is some form of interference through that powerbar or outlet you are using right now.

I know someone that has happen everytime they start their browser and their browser takes about 3 mins to load. If they leave the browser open they hear the noises the whole time. Close the browser sound drops off.

The other thing would be to go into the sound profiles and mute the microphone/input signal, as that is also another source of ghostly voices in the background.

Sounds like someone needs to stop using IE6 and clean their computer of viruses...
